Trade Programs
A trade program (also called a vocational or technical program) is an educational program which teaches students a set of specific skills necessary to perform a particular job. Trade programs are often extremely concentrated, with maximum focus spent on hands-on practical training- a method allowing students to graduate and start a new career in less time than a four-year liberal arts degree. Many trade and vocational schools are privately owned, but training courses have become increasingly available at high schools and community colleges.
