Education Guys: Guide to Technical Education

Master's Degrees in Visual Communications

A master degree is a graduate degree that takes approximately two to three years to complete, and is offered through most colleges and universities. Types may vary, but the two most common are the Master of Arts (MA) and the Master of Science (MS). Coursework in a master degree deals only with students' chosen fields, and often includes research toward a final thesis. Students may pursue a master degree to deepen understanding of a subject gained from their bachelor degree, or to become a specialist in their profession.
