Education Guys: Guide to Technical Education

Doctorate Degrees in Agriculture

A doctorate degree is the highest level of learning a student can accomplish. Doctorates are offered at most public and private universities, and can either be research-based-these are referred to as a PhD, or Doctor of Philosophy, in one's given field-or professional, such as Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Engineering (EngD). A doctorate degree can take anywhere from two to six years to complete, with much of that time devoted to research for a final dissertation, and a bachelor degree is normally required for admittance.
